MY REVIEW
First off, let me just say this is my own honest opinion. I purchased this from Sephora back around Christmas, so this 30 ml bottle has lasted me a pretty good bit, around 7 months. It is pretty pricey. I did NOT use this every night. As most of you know if you keep up with me on social media I have combination skin, dry in some areas but prone to oil in my t-zone, I suffer from perioral dermatitis, hormonal acne, and large pores, my skin is pretty sensitive, so what works for me probably will not work for everyone. I started using this only about twice a week until my skin adjusted and then I upped it to around 3-4x a week. I am in my late twenties so I don't necessarily have wrinkles yet but I do have a few fine lines (smile lines).
The Break Down:
- I saw improvement in my redness on my skin
- pores appeared smaller
- had a luminosity to my complexion
- less acne inflammation
I know what your thinking, like that's it? For me I would definitely repurchase, as this wasn't an every day product for me, just a special treatment for my skin to use a few times a week. When it comes to skincare I do tend to splurge more than I would on makeup. Yes, this product is on the costly side, costing $90 for 1 oz. but when you break the price down, 90/7 months, that's just a little over $10 per month. Which for me is well worth it. This product is by far my favorite from the DE Skincare Line. I love there packaging but part of me thinks, ehh it's too much packaging for the amount that you get, so the looks can be deceiving. I'm sure there are other products on the market that will give you similar results as this one did, but for me, since my skin is so finicky, I like to stick with products that I know will give me results without causing too much chaos for my skin. You can purchase this product directly from Drunk Elephant or from Sephora.
