I've recently been getting ALOT of questions about how well the wholesale/eBay kabuki brushes hold up and whether they compare to Sigma make up brushes, the truth is I do not know, as of right now I do not own any Sigma brushes, in the past I thought about purchasing the well know F80 Kabuki Foundation brush but after reading so many mixed reviews I decided that I would pass. I do however own a few of The Luxie Beauty synthetic handmade kabuki brushes and a few of Makeup Geek brushes, IT Cosmetics and to me all 3 brands perform like high end brushes which I know the IT Cosmetics brushes are known to be high end as they do not shed. Anyways I decided that I would compare my Luxie Beauty brushes to my wholesale/eBay brushes, (disclaimer: I purchased these brushes through a whole seller but you can find the same ones on eBay) I'll list the pros and cons of each brush and whether or not I think the Luxie Set is worth the splurge. Check on my instagram account: blogwithbrit for in depth detail and pictures comparing each brush together. All in all I believe that the Luxie Beauty Brushes are definitely worth the splurge but always check to see if you can find a deal online or a promo code, I purchased mine through Ipsy and saved a nice penny. The Jessup brushes have held up pretty well and I think they are definitely a good value for the inexpensive price, especially if you aren't crazy about buying name brand brushes or high end products or if you just want to save some money. They would also make a great present for someone who is just starting out with makeup or someone who hasn't figured out the different make up brushes that are out there.
